The William shakespeare Walk

This is an interactive walking tour, based on the life and times of William Shakespeare. Many places associated with Shakespeare and the 16th century are explored during this walk.  Discover where the bard drank, shopped and worshipped; the site of the original Globe and Rose theatres, as well as a little known indoor theatre, and the bear gardens; the notorious private prison of the Bishop of Winchester; and where the heads of traitors were displayed!

People say that there is very little left of Shakespeare’s London but on this walk you will discover that there are still many gems to be had!  Be prepared to take part in one of his famous scenes, as together we reconstruct 16th century London….To be, or not to be……

His mastery as an actor made us easily role-play and, consequently, go back in time and take part in the past events as if we had really been experiencing them.  The atmosphere was so exciting!
