There are over 230 theatres in London which seat over 10,000 people!  They contribute over £100 billion to the British economy each year.

On this tour, we journey through Theatreland, discovering a host of unique venues, both large and small but all loved.  Theatre is precious to Londoners.

We will wander past many of London’s famous theatres and discover many fun facts about the industry:

  • The Royal Opera House
  • Shaftesbury Avenue
  • The oldest theatre in London
  • The home of the world’s longest running stage production
  • The Palace Theatre
  • The Agatha Christie Memorial

Which horror writer was once the manager of The Lyceum Theatre.

Where a king secretly conducted his love affair with an actress when he was supposed to be watching a play.

Which theatre is haunted by The Grey Man.

The tour will take aproximately 2 hours.

The Meeting Point is outside Covent Garden Station.

The Finishing Point is Leicester Square.
