The Old & New City
The City of London is where the Romans settled after invasion. It contains over 2000 years of history.
This walk includes some of the City’s most famous sites, including St Paul’s Cathedral, the site of many famous national events, from the marriage of Prince Charles and Lady Diana in 1981, to the funerals of Churchill, Thatcher and Lord Nelson.
The Old includes:
- Medieval Alleyways
- The Bank of England
- The Guildhall
- Leadenhall Market
- The Monument
- St Paul’s Cathedral
The New includes:
- One New Change (if open)
- The Cheesegrater
- The Walkie Talkie
- The Gherkin
- The Lloyds Building

The tour is approximately 3 hours long.
The Meeting Point is St Paul’s Station (outside Exit 2)
The Finishing Point is Monument Station.
